Master degree engineering studies –  Faculty of Architecture

Architecture 

MASTER’S STUDIES 1.5-year, full-time program The studies are intended for graduates of engineering studies in the field of architecture/architecture and urban planning, who hold a Bachelor’s degree and possess the necessary competencies to continue their education in the second-degree studies of this field.  

The study program encompasses interdisciplinary technical knowledge and extensive knowledge in the field of humanities. Here, you will acquire comprehensive technical knowledge concerning:

  • Advanced technical aspects of design,
  • Humanities-related theories in architecture, urban planning, and art,
  • Conservation theory,
  • Selected issues in philosophy, sociology, and management.

You will gain skills in designing buildings or urban complexes of high complexity, considering social factors and meeting high functional, technical, aesthetic, and cultural requirements, ensuring safety and comfort of use, including for people with disabilities. As a graduate of this field, you will be able to conduct studies in conservation protection, develop spatial planning, regional plans, and local plans.

Interior Design

MASTER’S STUDIES 1.5-year, full-time program – The studies are intended for graduates of engineering studies in the fields of interior architecture, architecture/architecture and urban planning, and design, who hold a Bachelor’s degree and possess the necessary competencies to continue their education in the second-degree studies of this field.

In this field, you will acquire advanced, interdisciplinary (technical and humanistic) knowledge, deepened by an awareness of shaping the immediate human environment based on psycho-physiological factors. As a graduate, you will be able to design interiors in facilities with complex functions and formal structures, in residential and public utility buildings, including large-scale interiors, sets of interiors with diverse utility programs, also considering conservation constraints.

You will be able to create and implement:

  • Projects in the field of industrial design (furniture, utility forms),
  • Exhibition design,
  • Arrangements of small open areas,
  • Artistic installations.
